Wires and cables are part of our routine. No matter what you do, if you want to turn on the computer or the toaster you need these tiny rods of metal to connect with one of the most important things in the world such as electricity. But as usual art can manage to find different purpose of this well known object. Pictures? This is the last idea which will pop up in mind when you see cables. Until now.
The person behind this creative project is the visual artist Charis Tsevis. This set of illustrations for Tsevis's clients was accomplished during the last two years. It takes countless hours in the studio and great patience to work and achieve something with this unusual material. The results are more than amazing.
Some of Charis Tsevis clients include Toyota, IKEA, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal and many more. Since 1996 Charis is also a part time professor of Editorial Design and Typography at AKTO College of Art and Design. Tsevis is also a regular columnist in some of the most respected design and computer magazines in Greece. He has also written 2 books about Adobe Photoshop.
" All of them have to do with the relationship between the network and the human body and spirit."
