Brian M. Viveros is well known for his erotic-riot paintings. His tough but beautiful girls are drawn using acrylic and ink.
Brian is born in California. He began drawing at an early age, with no formal training but with a great wish to learn and study from the masters in comics and film. From then till now Vivervos has shown his work in many galleries in the US and Europe, and has appeared in magazines such as Juxtapoz .
The inspiring in Viveros is that he learn how to draw with no help or lessons. "Just" imagination and a lot of practice. This is hard to be seen nowadays where popular digital technique is most common way to create paintings.
Vivervos trademark is the cigarette for which he says: “The cigarette is a part of me that I try to convey through my work, my signature, has become a sort of brand, it is also much easier to paint that than a can of beer in every fucking picture."
In 2005 Brian made his directing debut with his surrealistic film Dislandia.
